The junior quarterback ran for three first-half touchdowns — including two 17-yard scores — to help Baker County (3-1, 1-0) open a 35-21 halftime lead. He also added a 66-yard touchdown pass to Avant Lee as part of the team's 21-point first-quarter onslaught.

Baker County's defense shut out the Falcons (3-1, 0-1) in the second half after Menendez scored 21 points in the second quarter to cut into the deficit. Lee ended Menendez's final possession with an interception.
The Cats also blocked a punt for the second straight week, which Robert Baker returned to Menendez's 7 yard line. Senior offensive lineman Matthew McDuffie recovered a fumble in the end zone three plays later for Baker County's second score.
