Dorothy Clark of Defuniak Springs, FL, 67, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at home with her family by her bedside after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 20, 1944 in Jacksonville to Ervin and Dorothy Green Nobles.
Mrs. Clark was a Baptist and enjoyed painting, spending time with her family, friends and with her dog “Lucy.” She was a very giving and loving person and always kept a good sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her father; grandchildren Alex Martin and Carolyn Clark.
Survivors include her mother Dorothy B. Nobles of Hilliard; loving husband of 47 years Lonnie S. Clark of DeFuniak Springs; son Lonnie T. Clark of DeFuniak Springs; daughters Regina A. Clark of Laurel Hill and Joyce Clark of DeFuniak Springs; brothers Willie (Janet) Nobles, Ray (Sonya) Nobles; grandchildren Rory Clark and Caitlin Clark.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 pm on July 31 at Guerry Funeral Home. Interment followed at Brandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
