The BCHS Wildcats responded to last week’s disappointing loss with their first district win of the season in a 49-10 win over the hosting Forrest Rebels September 27.

The BCHS varsity Wildcats dropped to 3-2 on the season and 0-1 in District 3-5A play in a thrilling 17-9 loss as home to Ribault September 20.
The BCHS Wildcats won their second straight game in blow out fashion with a 52-14 beat down of Crescent City September 13 at Memorial Stadium.
After a tightly contested first quarter that ended with a 7-7 tie, Dalton Dyal gave the Wildcats the lead for good on a two-yard touchdown run. James Carter returned a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown on Crescent City’s next drive to pad the lead.
Michael Boone continued his outstanding season with three receiving and one punt return touchdown.
The 2-1 Wildcats open district play September 20 with a home game against Ribault.

Wide receiver Michael Boone set a new Baker County High School single game receiving record to help the Wildcats blow out the visiting Bradford Tornadoes 43-6 September 6 at Memorial Stadium.
Mr. Boone hauled in eight receptions for 211 yards to break former Wildcat Kendrick Singleton’s previous mark. The majority of his yards came on three huge touchdown passes of 67, 68 and 35 yards from quarterback Jacob Carter.
The defense was just as impressive in the game and shut down Bradford’s offense throughout the contest. The defense recorded multiple sacks and interceptions and kept the Tornadoes from mounting any kind of productive offense.
The Wildcats will look to continue their winning ways when they host Crescent City at Memorial Stadium September 13.
