Hospice, tractor supply host ribbon cuttings with Chamber

The Baker County Chamber of Commerce paired up with two organizations for ribbon cuttings recently — the May 18 ceremony at Tractor Supply Company on South 6th Street (left) and the Vitas Innovative Hospice Care satellite office on East Macclenny Avenue on June 27 (below).

The Macclenny Tractor Supply is the company’s 46th store in Florida and employs 12 workers. The facility has 25,118 square feet, including sales floor and support service space.

Vitas, also a for-profit company, opened its location here last fall but only recently joined the Chamber. Vitas, headquartered in Miami, serves some 15,000 in the U.S. and specializes in in-home hospice care, said director of marketing Philip Slotin (pictured below with the scissors).DSC_0019
