Cecil Privett of St. George

Cecil Webster Privett, 76, of St. George, GA died on June 9, 2012. He was born October 4, 1935 in St. George to Yulee Webster and Edna Raulerson Privett. He retired after 39 years from Florida Wire & Cable in Jacksonville. Mr. Privett enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bertha; daughter Lorie (Rick) Spears of Baxley, GA and son Greg Privett of St. Augustine; daughter-in-law Georgette Privett of Palm Coast, FL; grandson Matthew Tillman of Valdosta, granddaughter Megan Tillman of Statesboro, GA;  great-grandson Aiden Tillman of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews.

Jayce Cady dies at three months old

Jayce LeaHann Cady, 3 months old, of Fort Polk, Louisiana died March 4, 2012. She was born at Fort Polk to Lauren Scott Cady and Bethanie Lee Wunschel Cady on November 11, 2011.

Survivors include loving parents; brother Jaiden Scott Cady; paternal grandparents Urban Chester and Malisa Dawn Cady of Macclenny; maternal grandmother Theresa May Wunschel; paternal great-grandparents Buddy and Brenda Wright; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Leland Rheuark, 62, of Jacksonville

Leland T. Rheuark, 62, of Jacksonville died March 6, 2012. He was born in Loris, SC to the late Calhoun Rheuark and Mary McDowell Rheuark on October 4, 1949.  He was a resident of North Florida most of his life and worked for over 20 years as a tugboat captain at Cross State Towing.

Survivors include son Mark Rheuark of Macclenny;  brothers Donald, Lloyd, Paul and Pete Rheuark, all of Thomasville, NC; sister Florine Rheuark of Georgetown, SC; grandchildren Marlee and Katelyn Rheuark of Macclenny.

Sharon Shirey, 64, of Jacksonville dies

Sharon Combs Shirey, 64, of Jacksonville died March 12, 2012. She was born in Jacksonville to the late Frank W. Williams and WilloMae Newmans Williams on April 17, 1947. She was a resident of Baker County most of her life and a long time member of the Christian Fellowship Temple. Most recently, she attended Kirkwood Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville with her husband of five years Ken Shirey.

Sharon’s life centered around her family, her church family and her friends. After marrying Mr. Ken, she accomplished her life-long dream of traveling the country.  She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years Robert A. Combs and brother Wayne Williams.
