Quarterback Jacob Carter accounted for three touchdowns--one rushing and two passing--on October 3 as the Wildcats rolled through Wolfson 42-6 to pick up their first District 3-5A victory of the season.
The Cats scored 36 of their 42 points in the first half and didn't allow the Wolfpack to find the end zone until late in the third quarter. The team jumped out to an early lead following Jarvis Desue's 2-yard touchdown run on its opening drive. The defense got in on the action on Wolfson's ensuing drive as Mondrell Jefferson returned an interception 75-yards to pay dirt. Carter's 15-yard scoring run capped off the squad's 20-point first quarter.
Baker County added two more touchdowns in the second quarter with Eugene Farmer's 28-yard reception and Jacob Stalvey's short run.
Reggie Givens' 10-yard third-quarter touchdown reception gave the team a 42-0 lead.
The Wildcats will try to build on the momentum October 10 at Paxon.
