Edith “Gaylia” Hayes, 86, of Macclenny and formerly of Jacksonville, died on July 2, 2014 at Wells Nursing Home. She was born in Jacksonville on April 21, 1928 and was preceded in death by her first husband D. Harley Giddens and second husband Rev. Cecil M. Hayes; parents Willis B. and Pauline Dykes; brother Aubrey “Bubba” Dykes and daughter-in-law Linda Giddens.

Lona June Howard, 82, of Macclenny died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City following an extended illness. She was born in Bell, Florida and resided in Jacksonville before moving to Macclenny in 1975.
