A Jacksonville man arrested in north Macclenny in the spring of 2010 was given a seven-year prison sentence for trafficking in prescription pills.
The sentence imposed on Timothy Martin, 34, by Circuit Judge Mark W. Moseley on June 4 runs consecutive to one the defendant is already serving for a drug offense in Gadsden County.
Mr. Martin was nabbed off Faye Rd. in possession of 307 prescription pills. He pleaded guilty to trafficking and possession of drugs without a prescription.
In other sentencings, Brian Singletary, 35, of Baldwin drew a two-year prison term after pleading no contest to multiple drug sale and possession counts.
