Foreclosure on ex-dairy, sale of 168 acres set for July 22

A 168-acre tract west of Glen St. Mary that was Baker County’s last operating dairy farm until a year ago goes on the auction block next month.

A final judgement for foreclosure was entered in May against D&D Dairy Inc. and the judge set a sale date for 11 am on July 22. The plaintiffs in the foreclosure action are Thomas J. (Tom) Adams of Glen and the trust of his late wife Bobbie R. Adams.

Says ‘ex’ violated order by texting her

A criminal complaint was filed on June 17 alleging a Middleburg man violated a court order by texting his estranged wife, who lives in north Macclenny, on June 12.

Five Toyota vans stolen, victim says

A Bryceville, FL man reported to the sheriff’s department on June 12 that five aging Toyota vans apparently were taken from the Sanderson property of a man who was storing them the past two years.

George Patroi said the vehicles ranging in model years from 1985-1991 were not in working order and had been placed on the property of Jefferson Otis due to an unspecified civil dispute in Nassau County where the owner lives.
