“Everything’s Coming Up Roses” is the theme for the 2013 edition of the Macclenny Woman’s Club spring fashion show this Saturday, March 16 at the clubhouse on South 5th St. It begins at 10 am with brunch.
The three-act format features a musical prelude by fiddler Floyd Harvey with songs about roses. He will be joined by Sandy Thompson, Bill Bennett and Judy Johnson.
Mr. Bennett played with the legendary bluegrass fiddler Chubby Wise, who spent his later years in Glen St. Mary.
The show begins at 10:30 and their is a $5 door charge. Proceeds go to scholarships for BCHS students and the Columbia County Special Olympics.
