ShareEdwin L. “Bo” Harris, 74, died peacefully at Community Hospice on May 21, 2011 after a two-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Bo was born in Moniac, Georgia and worked 40 years as a latherer. He was retired for the last 12 years and enjoyed spending time with his dog.

Raymond Jack Jordan, 70, of Macclenny died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at his home. He was born on September 29, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH to Kyle Jordan and Martha Montgomery-Jordan. Mr. Jordan’s favorite saying was “Out of darkness, comes the light.” He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Share Barbara Levon Rowe, 76, of Macclenny died May 26, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Foley, Florida on December 17, 1934 to Lawrence A. Parker and Lillian Callihan Parker. Barbara had been a resident of Macclenny for 25 years after moving from Bostwick. She attended the Christian Fellowship Temple and enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Barbara was preceded in death by husband Jack Rowe; sisters Joan Jenkins and Jean Starling; grandson Kevin Lamar Drew.
Survivors include children Paul (Jeanna) Drew of Macclenny and Elaine (Joseph) Lipka of Belmont, NC; brother Wuggy (Christine) Parker of Jacksonville; sister Mary (Sherman) Drawdy of Macclenny; six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Share Edna Dell Wilson (nee Gay), died May 25, 2011. She was born January 28, 1934 in Folkston, Georgia. Edna grew up primarily in Jacksonville and attended the school of nursing at Emory University in Atlanta. She married David S. Wilson in 1956 and had three children: Susan, Cynthia, and Scott.
In the course of a distingu-ished career, she served as a head nurse, nursing educator, and administrator at many prominent institutions including St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville. She finished her career at Northeast Florida State Hospital in Macclenny, where she was a nursing administrator for 13 years. Well loved and respected by the scores of nurses who studied under and worked for her, she spent her later years in Keystone Heights.
