Joseph E. Mann 64, of Glen St. Mary died on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Veterans Medical Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Baker County, the son of Funston Mann, who preceded him in death. He was a long distance truck driver, a member of the VFW, American Legion and DAV.Mr. Mann is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Thelma Louise Stephens Mann of Glen St. Mary; daughters Lisa Manning (Richard) of Sneads, Edna Jo Medina (Elvin) of Sanderson and Crystal Summey (Joseph) of Jacksonville; son Roscoe Stephens (Dawn) of Callahan; mother Hazel Richard of Sanderson; brothers John Paul Mann of Sanderson; William Richard of Glen St. Mary and Douglas Funston Mann; sisters Margaret Sallie (Jean) of Sanderson and Mary Waters (Roger) of Middleburg; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mr. Mann was held Saturday, December 8 at 2 pm at Archer Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Lake Butler. Burial followed at South Prong Cemetery.
