Jordan Alexis Sommise, 14, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, died in a vehicle accident in Baker County on December 1, 2012.

Jordan was originally from Glen St. Mary and a member of Normandy Park Baptist Church, where she was active in the youth group. She loved country music, mud bogging and was a social butterfly who loved spending time with family and friends. She was loved by so many people.

Survivors include her mother Cynthia Griner; father Duane Sommise (Wendy); maternal grandmother Caroline Speer; paternal grandparents David and Peggy Brown; brothers Daniel and Michael Sommise; sisters Robbyn Kilpatrick (Adam), Stephanie Griner; step-sister Lynn Marie Peek; niece Karrigan Kilpatrick; numerous friends.

The funeral service for Ms. Sommise will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 11 am at the First Baptist Church of Glen St. Mary with Pastor Mike Ragland officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7 from 5-8 pm at Fraser Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations in her memory to Normandy Park Baptist Church Youth Group.
