Cynthia R. “Cyndi” Perez, 63, of Glen St. Mary died on Monday, November 26, 2012. A retired hairdresser and insurance agent, Mrs. Perez enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Richard Perez Sr. of Glen St. Mary; sons Timmy (Lori) Park of Lake Butler and David (Renee Flynn) Park of Jacksonville; daughter Heather (Allen) Markley of Glen St. Mary; step-son Richard (Christy) Perez Jr. of Oceanway; step-daughter Denise (Johnny) Brown of Bryceville; sister Debbie (Steve) Gross of Palatka; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mrs. Perez will be held 11 am Saturday on December 1, 2012 at the Christian Fellowship Temple in Macclenny with pastors David Thomas and Tim Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Friday, November 30 at the church. Forbes Funeral Home of Macclenny is in charge of arrangements.
