Baker Blast finish Jacksonville benefit tournament in second

The 13-and-under Baker Blast softball team made it to the championship game of the United States Specialty Sports Association’s Play for the Cure tournament in Jacksonville last weekend, finishing as the runner up in their division to the Jax Fusion squad. Proceeds from the two-day tournament benefitted the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its  mission to combat breast cancer.

The BCHS Wildcat varsity football team shut out the hosting Wolfson Wolfpack (0-5, 0-3) 40-0 the evening of October 4 to improve its record to 4-2 overall and 2-1 against district opponents.

The BCHS Wildcats recorded their first shut out of the season in a 40-0 road victory over Wolfson to improve their District 3-5A record to 2-1 and move to 4-2 overall.
