Lake City loses to Bobcats 26-14

The BCMS Bobcats remained undefeated and moved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in Florida Crown Conference play with a 26-14 road win at Lake City on October 1.
The team scored on two quarterback runs, the first for more than 50-yards by David Smith, then Curtis Harmon punched the second quarterback sneak in from short yardage.

Baker Blast finish Jacksonville benefit tournament in second

The 13-and-under Baker Blast softball team made it to the championship game of the United States Specialty Sports Association’s Play for the Cure tournament in Jacksonville last weekend, finishing as the runner up in their division to the Jax Fusion squad. Proceeds from the two-day tournament benefitted the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its  mission to combat breast cancer.

Swimmers set records in three losses

Records are made to be broken.

That’s a mantra the BCHS swim team has taken to heart as six school records were set during the team’s meets at Suwannee and Clay.
