Wildcats blow out Crescent City 52-14

The BCHS Wildcats won their second straight game in blow out fashion with a 52-14 beat down of Crescent City September 13 at Memorial Stadium.

After a tightly contested first quarter that ended with a 7-7 tie, Dalton Dyal gave the Wildcats the lead for good on a two-yard touchdown run. James Carter returned a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown on Crescent City’s next drive to pad the lead.

Michael Boone continued his outstanding season with three receiving and one punt return touchdown.

The 2-1 Wildcats open district play September 20 with a home game against Ribault.

Cats’ bounce back was not surprising

Maybe it’s a pattern. Lose big in the first game, come back big in the second game. For the second year in a row the Wildcats lost their first game by a healthy margin only to come back and completely dominate in their second game of the season.
