Conference title for Bobcats!

Baker County Middle School is quickly becoming the School of Champions.
The Bobcat baseball team became the school’s third sports team to hoist a conference championship trophy this school year when they defeated the visiting Madison County 2-1 on April 10.

Officials seek to secure pool

Now that the equipment has been cleared out and the former YMCA fitness center on Lowder St. is officially closed, the focus is shifting to myriad sports and exercise programs the Jacksonville-based organization says it intends to keep alive in Baker County, most notably fee-based sports teams for younger people and the swimming pool.
