‘Car boxes’ from mom a big hit for students

webcar boxesChildren in the class of kindergarten teacher Tanyia Rowan received a special treat from the mother of one of her students, Joel Carver, 6, pictured above with the “car boxes” Andrea Carver made for each student in her son’s class. The boxes included a snack, a small book to read, paper and writing implements, all so the kids can learn to read and write while on the go.

$100K dispute leads to impasse in BCSRPA negotiations
