Myra Janice Taylor Fraser, 70, of Macclenny died on July 18, 2013 at St. Vincent’s Riverside Center for Caring with family by her side. She was born in Jacksonville on September 2, 1942 to the late Earl Taylor and Vallie Rhoden Taylor and was a lifelong resident of Baker County. She was a beautician for 40 years, and the owner of Myra’s Styles and Cuts for Guys and Gals and of Southern States Nurseries.

Billy Langston Childs, 83, of Macclenny died on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Mr. Childs was a switchman for CSX Transportation for 35 years and also owned a well drilling company. He was a member of Riverview Masonic Lodge #306 in Jacksonville, and enjoyed shrimping in his free time and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
