Here’s some sobering statistics, courtesy of the Family Bar division of the Florida Bar and brought to our attention by Circuit Judge Phyllis Rosier:

— On average, 83,000 couples divorce in Florida each year. The average length of marriage before divorce was ten years, and these divorces split the homes of 53,000 children. Sixty percent of teens in Florida have not grown up with both parents. Read More »
