James “Jim” Harrison Wilk, Sr., 68, of Macclenny died on January 10, 2014. He was born in Jacksonville on September 17, 1945 to the late Edward Joseph Wilk and Mary McCleod Wilk. He had been a resident of Macclenny since 2005 after moving from Mandarin, Florida. Jim and his brother John were co-owners and operators of the family business, Wilk Forwarding Company, which their father founded.

David Wayne Morse, 57, of Baldwin died suddenly on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and resided in Goose Creek, S.C. before moving to Baldwin 14 years ago.
Carl W. Mobley, 85, of Belle Isle, Florida died on December 21, 2013. He was born on January 2, 1928 to the late Rufus C. and Maude Mobley in Glen St. Mary and enlisted in military service at the age of 18. While stationed in Colorado, Carl met his wife of 64½ years, Elizabeth, while roller skating. Together they raised two children.
