Kimberly Carter, 59, of Sanderson

Kimberly Sue Carter, 59, of Sanderson died on June 10, 2013. She was born in Long Beach, CA on February 7, 1954 to Robert E. Hunt and Marjorie Lou Desselberger and was a resident in Baker County since 2000 when she moved from Jacksonville. She had a passion for the outdoors,  including four wheeling in the woods, hunting and fishing. She loved horses, even just watching them run. Kimberly was an avid cleaner, enjoyed cooking and taking cruises. She had such a competitive spirit with such a big heart and enjoyed her family and grandchildren. William Bailey of Hilliard dies

William M. Bailey, 61, of Hilliard died peacefully on June 1, 2013 at Community Hospice in Jacksonville. He was born September 20, 1951 and was preceded in death by his daughter Betty Michele Painter. He is survived by daughters April (Lee) Waddell of Glen Saint Mary and Amy Garcia of Batesburg, SC; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister Janet (Andy) Milonas; brothers Jan, Jerry and Frank Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday for Danny Willis

John Daniel “Danny” Willis Sr., 62, of Starke died on April 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Jacksonville on December 25, 1950 to the late Daniel “Willie” Willis and Delores Crews Willis. He was a resident of Starke for the past three years after moving from Macclenny where he resided since 1972. Danny served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and he retired from Haskell Steel Company as a foreman after 25 years. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed fishing, golfing and vacationing in the mountains.

Chester Wilber, 94, of Fleming Island

Chester Bruce Wilber, 94, died on April 4, 2013 in Fleming Island, FL. He was born December 29, 1918 to Chester and Inez Wilber in Rising Sun, IN. Chester is a WWII veteran and retired from the former Seaboard Coastline Railroad Company after 32 years of service. He lived for a time in Baker County, and often said his work on the railroad was a 32-year vacation as he absolutely loved it.

Mr. Wilber was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Ena M. Wilber, and his parents. He is survived by sons Elvin Wilber (Cathy) and Terry Wilber (Julia); grandchildren Christine Whitlock (Peter), Timothy Wilber (Melissa), Dana Varner (Travis), Jennifer Sumner (Matt), Trenton Wilber, John Barber, Jordan Barber; great-grandchildren Kyle Severance (Samantha) Sean Severance, Christopher Whitlock, Katie Whitlock, Dustin Wilber, Cassie Pour (Gary), Natalie Varner, Erin Varner and Rayelynn Barber; many nieces and nephews.
