Kimberly Sue Carter, 59, of Sanderson died on June 10, 2013. She was born in Long Beach, CA on February 7, 1954 to Robert E. Hunt and Marjorie Lou Desselberger and was a resident in Baker County since 2000 when she moved from Jacksonville. She had a passion for the outdoors, including four wheeling in the woods, hunting and fishing. She loved horses, even just watching them run. Kimberly was an avid cleaner, enjoyed cooking and taking cruises. She had such a competitive spirit with such a big heart and enjoyed her family and grandchildren. William M. Bailey, 61, of Hilliard died peacefully on June 1, 2013 at Community Hospice in Jacksonville. He was born September 20, 1951 and was preceded in death by his daughter Betty Michele Painter. He is survived by daughters April (Lee) Waddell of Glen Saint Mary and Amy Garcia of Batesburg, SC; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister Janet (Andy) Milonas; brothers Jan, Jerry and Frank Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews. Beverly Patricia Kicklighter, 79, of Ft. White, Fla. died Monday, April 1 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville following an extended illness. She was born in Jacksonville and spent most of her life in Lake City before moving back to Jacksonville. She was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Evelyn L. Seelbach Howard and the wife of the late Joseph Frank Kicklighter. She worked as a heavy equipment operator with the Orange County road department for over 20 years. She was a Baptist and enjoyed shopping and playing bingo.
She is survived by daughter Amanda Nicole Kicklighter of Jacksonville; sons William Thomas Kicklighter Sr. of Ocala, Allen Frank Kicklighter and Timmy Dale Kicklighter, both of Ft. White; sisters Charlene Pidgeon of Jacksonville and June Gonzales of Orlando; brother Bill Howard of Bunnell, Fla.; grandchildren William Thomas Kicklighter Jr., Samantha Marie Kicklighter and Jacob Moses Kicklighter of Jacksonville; ten great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 4 pm on Monday, April 8 in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home in Macclenny with Rev. Gregory Combs, pastor of the Baxter Community Baptist Church, officiating. Final disposition will be by cremation.
Allen Lee Moore, 43, of Macclenny died on April 6, 2013 in a traffic mishap. He was born in Jacksonville on July 30, 1969 to George Newton Moore Jr. and the late Mary Moore. Allen was a resident of Macclenny for the majority of his life and was a foreman many years in his family’s business George Moore Stucco. He was an avid NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Washington Redskins fan.
Allen is survived by his father of Macclenny; children Donnie Lee Moore and Amanda Marie Moore of Virginia; brothers Anthony Wayne Moore of Macclenny and George N. (Kerry) Moore III of Maxville.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12 at 2 pm at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services in Macclenny. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
