Lucille Conner, 82, of Taylor dies

Lucille Dinkins Conner, 82, of Sanderson died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital in Macclenny after a sudden illness. She was born in the Taylor community and lived there her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Marvin Taylor Dinkins, and a homemaker who enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Conner is survived by husband Virgil Conner of Sanderson; her children Betty Fay (Thomas) Dyal and Janet (Charlie) Easterday of Sanderson, Essie Mae (Jimmy) Thrift of Macclenny, Lawton (Charlene) Conner, Susie (George) Franks, Christean (Tom) Raley, Raymond (Tammy) Conner and Angie (Eddie) Williams, all of Glen St. Mary; sister Blanche Long of Providence, FL; 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pam Crews, 62, dies on July 31st

Pamela Lynn Crews, 52, of Glen St. Mary died July 31, 2012 at her residence with family by her side. She was born in Macclenny on August 3, 1959 to the late Leo Eugene Wood and Nina Lee Hurst Wood. Pamela was a lifelong resident of Baker County and was a member of Souls Harbor Church of God. She was a homemaker, an avid Gator fan, and loved hunting and little league baseball.

Survivors include her loving husband Harry Joseph Crews of Glen; sons Jeremy Lee (Amber) Crews of Macclenny and Cameron Joseph (Keri) Crews of Glen; step-son Joshua Allen (Becky) Crews of Jacksonville,; brother Kenny (Patty) Wood of Glen; sister Paula (Henry E.) Crews of Glen; grandson Jace Lee Crews; her step-granddaughter Ashlynn Reese Crews.

Loretha Dugger, 83, of Macclenny

Loretha Tyson Dugger, 83, of Macclenny died on July 26, 2012. She was born in Brandon, FL to the late Obie Stokes and Mae Combs Stokes on February 3, 1929. She was a lifelong resident of Baker County and a member of Soul’s Harbor Church of God. Loretha worked as a manager for the commercial department for NEF Telephone Company, was the Red Cross representative for Baker County and enjoyed sewing, reading and tending to her flower garden. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Stokes.

Mrs. Neideffer of Tampa dies at 59

Elizabeth A. Neideffer, 59, of Tampa died on Friday, July 6, 2012 at her residence. She was a native of Baker County, graduated from Baker County High School and recently retired from the VA hospital in Tampa after 38 years.

She is survived by husband Bobby; sons Robert and Brent Neideffer; mother Vera Stafford of Glen St. Mary, sisters Emogene Box of Lake Butler, Jeanette Tyre of Lake City and Geraldine Harris of Fort White; brothers Eugene of Ft. Pierce, Earl of Lake City, Joe of Macclenny and Ricky of Glen St. Mary; sister-in-law Malinda Hobson of Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews.
