Link sought with shoplifters who took TVs from Walmart

The sheriff’s department was looking into a possible link between a group of felony shoplifters who looted the Macclenny Walmart of televisions and electronics last week and a similar incident in Nassau County.

Deputy Michael Clark said he was notified via text from a Baldwin man the evening of October 16 after he witnessed three black females and at least one black male leave the store with four televisions, a sound system and a video player.
