First health department 5K draws 90+ to Memorial Park

More than 90 runners and walkers, including the Wildcat cross country team and its coach Pam Robinson, participated in the inaugural Heart for Health 5K fun run sponsored by the Baker County Health Department the morning of September 26 at Macclenny’s Memorial Park. Attendees lined up on the looping sidewalk that runs through the park off West Boulevard for the 9 a.m. start. Finishing first was the cross country team’s Sheldon Griffis.
