A convicted felon from Glen St. Mary was sentenced to an 18-month prison term on May 20 after admitting he violated several provisions of his probation sentence for having and firing a gun and felony driving with a suspended license.
An updated local housing assistance plan was approved by the Baker County Commission last week to meet a May 23 deadline to secure $350,000 in state funds to build modest houses or repair existing dwellings for low income, elderly and disabled clients.
