Return fraud scheme arrests

Police arrested two Macclenny men, one for larceny and fraud and the other for resisting officers without violence, the afternoon of January 29 after one of them tried to keep a deputy from locating the other, who had fraudulently returned an item worth more than $40 at Walmart. Read More »

Child struck with electrical cord

A sheriff’s investigator filed a sworn complaint with the state attorney’s office on January 30 naming a 22-year-old Glen St. Mary woman for felony child cruelty on her 5-year-old step-son. Read More »
