The large umbrella-shaped Chinese chestnut tree on the Glen St. Mary Nursery property has seen many a wedding take place under its leafy branches. Sadly, the tree has stood for nearly a century without a mate of its own.

At least 10 motorcycle riders took part in the roughly 100-mile “Poker Run for Jaiden Skye-Leah Champion,” the benefit ride and fundraiser for Jaiden’s family. She is 6 years old and has a genetic disorder known as Mawat Wilson Syndrom as well as other diagnoses, including epilepsy.
