REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given that the Baker County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals for Legal/Attorney services. All proposals should be submitted to the Baker County Administration Office, located at 55 North Third Street, Macclenny, Florida 32063 no later than August 16, 2013 at 5:00pm. Late proposals will not be accepted.
Baker County desires to enter into a non-exclusive contractual relationship with a practicing attorney to serve as County Attorney by providing legal counsel, including but not limited to research, issuance of legal opinions, preparation of contracts and legal documents, courtroom related appearances, and all other legal matters. Attendance at a variety of meetings will be required, including Board of Commissioners meetings, as specified.
Submissions should be contained in a sealed package or envelope with “LEGAL SERVICES PROPOSAL” clearly marked on the outside. Complete specifications can be obtained at the address listed above or by emailing cj.thompson@bakercountyfl.org.
