Trail Maintenance- Osceola National Forest

This event will take place Monday, March 24th, 2014 – Saturday, March 29th, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. The cost of this event is free. To register, contact Recreation Program Manager Debra Stucki at 386-752-2577 or email at Dstucki02@fs.fed.us

The American Hiking Association will be working on trail maintenance at the Big Gum Swamp Wilderness on the Osceola National Forest and the public is invited to participate. The trail is approxiamately six miles and runs through the 13,000 acre wilderness. For more information contact the Osceola National Forest.

St. Mary’s River cleanup

Volunteers are meeting at the Steel Bridge Road boat ramp at 8 a.m. for the annual St. Mary’s River cleanup. Trash bags and gloves will be supplied but covered shoes, sunscreen and hats are recommended.
