Final weekend for ‘Broadway Musicals’

The BCHS and Baker County Community Theatre production of Broadway in Baker: Movie Musicals had a strong showing last week with sell outs and enthusiastic crowds.  The show runs for its final week Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. The production features over 20 songs with a dozen production numbers, comedy, ballads and big iconic songs. Democrats host meeting

The Baker County Democrat Party will hold its next quarterly meeting on Saturday, February 13 at noon. The location is 6852 Cattle Gap Lane off CR 125 south of Glen St. Mary. Tea for cancer survivors

Relay For Life of Baker County will host its annual “Purple Tea” reception for cancer survivors at the Woman’s Club on February 21 from 2-4 p.m. The address is 144 South 5th St. From 2 to 2:30 will be the welcome with tea and treats. Learn about gardening by lunching with the experts. Join area master gardeners and Baker County’s horticultural agent Alicia Lamborn for a free Lunch-N-Learn  at the Ag Center on Friday, March 4 from 11 a.m.-2p.m. Bring a brown bag lunch and listen to demonstrations on container gardening, DIY tower gardens and trap crops.
