Bill Watson, 73, former deputy sheriff

watson, bill obitWilliam “Bill” Douglas Watson, 73, of Sanderson died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his residence peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Orlando and lived in Glen St. Mary before moving to Sanderson in 1989. He was a deputy sheriff for 28 years with the Baker County Sheriff’s Department and the former owner of Air Engineers Air Conditioning Service in Jacksonville. He was a member of the Sanderson Masonic Lodge, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and an avid farmer, raising animals and poultry.
