Annie Sondrini dies on Christmas Eve

Sondrini, Annie PicAnnie Marlene Taylor Sondrini, 69, of Glen St. Mary died December 24, 2015 at her residence. She was born on January 13, 1946 in Folkston, Ga. to the late Harvey Taylor and Celia Todd Taylor. Mrs. Sondrini moved to Glen St. Mary in 1991, and enjoyed word search puzzles, tending to her plants, bowling and crocheting in her younger years, and spending time with her dogs. Read More »

Zymir Washington service Saturday

Zymir Naciere Mykeal Washington, 17, of Macclenny died on December 28, the result of a traffic accident. He was born March 20, 1998 in Albany, New York and moved to Florida in 2003 to reside with his aunt Lettie Mae Ruise, who loved him dearly. Zymir was a student at Baker County High School in Glen St. Mary and a member of The Praise and Worship Center of the Most High God in Sanderson. Bill Watson, 73, former deputy sheriff

watson, bill obitWilliam “Bill” Douglas Watson, 73, of Sanderson died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his residence peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Orlando and lived in Glen St. Mary before moving to Sanderson in 1989. He was a deputy sheriff for 28 years with the Baker County Sheriff’s Department and the former owner of Air Engineers Air Conditioning Service in Jacksonville. He was a member of the Sanderson Masonic Lodge, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and an avid farmer, raising animals and poultry.
