A Macclenny man was arrested in the early morning of December 12 for third-degree felony drug possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and third-degree felony driving while license suspended habitual offender when he was pulled over on a traffic stop at the corner of MLK Dr. and US 90 downtown.

An inmate at the Baker County jail was arrested on December 12 for felony smuggling contraband and misdemeanor theft after police found cigarettes on him during a strip search.
The following sentences were ordered by Judge Joey Williams in county court on December 11:
• Daniel Lee Brown, misdemeanor marijuana and paraphernalia possession and driving on a suspended license; 10 days in county jail, six-month probation and attend addiction meetings.
A Macclenny man was arrested on the night of December 10 for disorderly intoxication after he became violent while being questioned.
