Standoff ends at residence in north Macclenny

The standoff with a man at a home on SR 121 north in Macclenny ended Friday evening with the subject killing himself before the BCSO special response team could enter the residence. The standoff began after the man fired shots at his wife earlier in the afternoon. The name of the suspect has not been released at this time. Full story in next Thursday's edition.
