Over the last two years Joe and Jennifer Asbury of Baxter have been slowly turning their 18-acre tract on CR 127 into an organic farm with vegetable and melon gardens, chickens, rabbits, geese and ducks.

They opened their homestead, Sunrise Jubilee Farms, on Saturday, June 15 to the public and hosted a number of craft and food vendors, a mix of Christian bands and a potluck dinner with cake. Visitors walked the garden as children played with the chickens or splashed down an inflatable water slide.
