After learning that the county owed $1.2 million to the school district due to a series of mistakes in the tax collector’s office, county commissioners were told last week to prepare for another jolt to the budget — this time from the City of Macclenny.
Students at Westside Elementary School don’t have to worry about bringing any money with them for meals when Baker County schools reopen on August 18. Breakfast and lunch will be available at no charge for every child at Westside for the next four years. Read More »
