Ida Mae Drake

Funeral for Ida Mae Drake on Saturday
Ida Mae Drake of Baldwin died on November 3, 2013. She is survived by a devoted family that includes daughters Dorothy Drake, Lula Mae Ayers and Ollie Mae Atkins; brother George Shade; sister Lyla Cromeadie; 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
The viewing for Mrs. Drake will be on Friday, November 15 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Baldwin from 4-6:30 pm. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 16 at the church, and interment at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Macclenny.
Carthage Chapel Funeral Home of Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.

Rosa Cribbs

Rosa Cribbs, 83, service in Fargo, GA

Rosa Bell Cribbs, 83, died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Cribbs was born July 21, 1930 in Hamilton County, FL to the late Dennis Cribbs and Rosabell McClain Cribbs. She was an electrician, a good mother who loved her children, a hard worker and she lived life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by husband Bob Knox; son Mike Knox; grandson Robert Allen Key Jr.; sisters Grace C. Tomlinson, Sara Mae Cribbs and Ruby Wilma C. Sills; brothers Houston Cribbs, Charles F. Cribbs, Price Cribbs, Dennis W. Cribbs and Emory Siam Cribbs.
Mrs. Cribbs is survived by daughter and fiancé Renee C. Knox and William Hubbard of Macclenny; sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth and Pattie Key of Macclenny and Robert Allen and Connie Key Sr. of Texas; sisters Nettie Alma Taylor of Fargo, GA and Janell C. Padgett of Palatka, GA; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The funeral service for Mrs. Cribbs was held Tuesday, November 12 at a 2 pm at the Fargo Church of God. Interment followed in Fargo Memorial Cemetery.

Johnny Arnett

Funeral for Johnny Arnett is held in Moniac on Nov. 11th

Arnett-obit_colorJohnny L. Arnett, 51, of Macclenny died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Mr. Arnett lived most of his life in Baker County and was a graduate of Baker County High School. He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Jean Hodges Arnett in 2010 and brother Donald Clyde Arnett.
Survivors include his father Donald C. Arnett Jr. of Macclenny and  brother Anthony Arnett of Fernandina Beach.
The funeral service for Mr. Arnett was conducted on Monday, November 11 at 11 am at Moniac Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Rouse officiating. Interment followed at Canaday Cemetery adjacent to the church. Guerry Funeral Home of Macclenny was in charge of arrangements.
