COA transportation center still over budget, to be scaled back

County commissioners have tentatively selected contractors to do the site preparation work and construct a new Baker County Council on Aging transportation center in Macclenny. But the federally-funded project will not move forward, officials said last week, unless it can be accomplished within budget.
