The New River Solid Waste Association (NRSWA) is soliciting letters of interest and statements of qualifications from those individuals or firms interested in providing General Counsel and Legal Services to the NRSWA.  Attorney(s) to be assigned to NRSWA must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar Association.
Respondent must have an office located within a forty (40) mile radius of New River Regional Landfill, Raiford, Florida.  DEADLINE for receipt of submittals in response to this request is Thursday, September 5, 2013 at noon. A proposal package may be picked up at the NRSWA Administration Office or may be requested via email (lgreene@nrswa.org) or phone to Lydia Greene, 386-431-1000.  Completed proposals must be mailed to NRSWA, P.O. Box 647, Raiford, FL 32083, or hand delivered to: NRSWA, 24276 NE 157th Street, Raiford, FL 32083.  NRSWA is located 2.5 miles north of Raiford, Florida on State Road 121 in Union County, Florida.  Submissions must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked Request for Attorney/Legal Counsel, RFQ #13-01 with nine (9) copies enclosed.  The proposals for selection of Attorney/Legal Counsel will be heard by the NRSWA Board of Directors at their September 12, 2013 board meeting at 5:30 p.m.  Submissions by fax or other electronic media will not be accepted under any circumstances.  Late submissions will not be accepted, but will be returned unopened to the sender at the sender’s expense.

Notice is hereby given that the Baker County Board of Commissioners will receive written, sealed bids at the Baker County Administration Office, located at 55 North Third Street, Macclenny, Florida 32063 until September 10, 2013 at 3:00pm for the following:

2013-01:  CR125 – Temporary guardrail repair
2013-02:  CR 23A – Streambed and side ditch repair
2013-03:  CR23C – Bridge revetment repair
2013-04:  Crews Road – Headwall replacement and channel shaping

All contractors bidding this project must be pre-qualified with FDOT in Tallahassee, Florida. Any person or organization that has been on a convicted vendor list within the past 36 months may not submit a bid. Specifications and bid documents will be available at the above mentioned address. All bids must be sealed with the project number clearly marked on the outside of the bid packet. Any bids received after September 10th at 3:00pm will not be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to use E-verify to verify the immigration status of workers.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference on August 27, 2013 at 10:00am at the Baker County Administration office located at the address listed above.
