Floy Lee Foster, 77, of Glen dies

Floy Lee Foster, 77, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died on December 1, 2012 at W. Frank Wells Nursing Home with family by her side. She was born in Macclenny on November 9, 1935 to the late James Morris Johnson and Mittie Dugger Johnson. Floy was a lifelong resident of Baker County, Florida and attended the Christian Fellowship Temple.

For many years she was a homemaker and caretaker who enjoyed playing Bingo, garage selling and tending to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Richard Dexter Foster, and her sister Eloise Bryant.

Mrs. Foster is survived by her loving children Dickie (Debbie) Foster of Glen St. Mary and Nancy (Robert) Sikes of Macclenny; grandchildren Melissa (Mark) Taylor, Robbie (Stephanie) Foster, Michael (Carrie) Sikes and Shawn Sikes; great-grandchildren, Morrissa, Masey, Lani, Gavan, Markayla, Dexter and Ty.

The funeral service for Mrs. Foster was held on Wednesday, December 5 at 11 am at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services chapel in Macclenny with pastors David and Timmy Thomas officiating. Interment followed at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
