Janet Mosley, 55, of Middleburg

Janet Patricia Mosley, 55, of Middleburg died on August 25, 2012 at her sister’s residence. She was born in Jacksonville on November 20, 1956 to Ramona Roberson and the late Donald Z. Roberson. Janet was an avid racing fan and Jacksonville Jaguar fan. She enjoyed fishing, camping, lying by the pool, shooting pool, playing darts and spending time with her family.

Ms. Mosley was preceded in death by her father; son Talmadge Vernon Mosley III; daughter Michelle Mosley; brother Richard Randolph Roberson.

‘Add’ Pourbaix, 71, of Lake City

Adhemar Francois “Add” Pourbaix, 71, of Lake City died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City following a long illness. He was born in Miami and resided in Lake City for the past 10 years. He owned a paint and body shop in Miami for many years and was owner of Cleaning Equipment & Supply Co in Miami for many years until his retirement. He was a graduate of Southwest Senior High School.  Mr. Pourbaix loved spending time with his family, enjoyed his cows and tending to his property and also hunting and salt water fishing.

He is survived by daughters Theresa “Terry” Ogden (Frank) of Homestead, Fla. and Deborah “Debbie” Christie (Marty) of Glen St. Mary; brother Frank (Stephanie) Pourbaix of Ocoee, Fla.; grandchildren Robbie Farr of Jacksonville, Barbara Ogden of Branford, Fla., Brandon Ogden of Homestead, Michael Farr and Daniel Farr, both of Glen St. Mary; grandchild Titus Farr of Jacksonville.

Jack Terry, 63, dies August 30th

Jack Willie Terry, 63, of Macclenny died August 30, 2012 at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Adel, Georgia on May 6, 1949 to the late Sid Terry Sr. and Sivena Smith Terry. Jack has been a resident of Macclenny for one year after moving from Alachua, FL. He enjoyed playing basketball when he was younger. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Betty Jean Terry.

Ralph Self, 79, of Macclenny dies

Ralph Self, 79, of Macclenny died on September 3, 2012. Mr. Self was born in Macclenny on November 28, 1932 to the late Charles Branson “C. B.” Self and Estelle Newmans Self Williams. He was a United States Navy veteran who proudly served his country in the Korean War as a radioman with the U.S. Navy Hurricane Hunters.

He retired as a truck driver with Central Truck Lines Inc. of Jacksonville and was a resident of Macclenny the past 41 years. Ralph was a jokester, a hard worker, enjoyed playing the guitar, loved going to gospel sings and roller skating, but most of all spending time with his family and friends. He is predeceased by his brothers Branson Self and Johnny Williams.
