Loretha Dugger, 83, of Macclenny

Loretha Tyson Dugger, 83, of Macclenny died on July 26, 2012. She was born in Brandon, FL to the late Obie Stokes and Mae Combs Stokes on February 3, 1929. She was a lifelong resident of Baker County and a member of Soul’s Harbor Church of God. Loretha worked as a manager for the commercial department for NEF Telephone Company, was the Red Cross representative for Baker County and enjoyed sewing, reading and tending to her flower garden. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Stokes.

Survivors include her husband J.D. Dugger, Jr. of Macclenny; children Retha Tatum of Macclenny, John C. and Hazel Tyson of Jacksonville and Ronald O. Tyson of Macclenny; brother Owen (Margaret) Stokes of Macclenny; 5 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services chapel in Macclenny, FL on July 28 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Shane Smith officiating.
