Doug Dugan, 50, dies in Illinois

Paul Douglas Dugan, 50, of Macclenny died August 10, 2012 at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL. He was born in Vandalia on December 17, 1961 to Harold Roger Dugan and Janet Ann Maitland, and had been a resident of Macclenny for seven years after moving from Jacksonville. From a very young age

Doug was a hardworking, productive gentleman working three to four jobs at once. He was a graduate of Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville and was the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania for 10 years. More recently he was a truck driver for SLT Trucking. He was an active member of Faith Baptist Church and an avid Tennessee Titan fan who enjoyed golfing, cycling, scuba diving, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Lynda J. Dugan of Macclenny; father Harold (Colette) Dugan of Vandalia; mother Janet (Floyd) Maitland of Macclenny; sons Christopher Dugan of Coffeen, IL, Stephen Dugan and his fiancée Emily of Fort Campbell, KY and James (Kathy) Dugan of Jacksonville; daughters Leslie Coover and Rebekah Dugan, both of Jacksonville; brother Bruce (Lori) Dugan of Macclenny; sister Lisa Dugan-Sevison of Middletown, PA; nine  grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17 at 11 am at his church with Pastor Torran Dismuke officiating. Interment will follow in Manntown Cemetery in Glen St. Mary. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 16 from 6-8 pm at Ferreira Funeral Services in Macclenny.
