Richard Kollmann, 69, of Jacksonville

Richard Kollmann, 69, of Jacksonville died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at his home. He was born November 22, 1942 in Bayside, New York to the late Frank and Louise (Schwetz) Kollmann. Richard was a veteran, served in the United States Navy and was a retired police officer. He is predeceased by his wife Sandra.

Survivors include children Diane Spriggs (Caroll), Richard Kershaw, Tara Harris (Mark) of Macclenny and Erica Kollmann; brothers Frank and Edward Kollmann; sister Stacey Zawacki; grandchildren Catelynn, Zanna, Paige, Austin, Alexandria and Talon; and a host of other relatives and friends.


A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 11 am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Rev. Ken Barney officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning beginning at 10 am at the funeral home.
