Brenda Rhoden, 52, of Sanderson

Brenda Faye Canady Rhoden, 52, of Sanderson died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital in Macclenny. She was born in Macclenny and resided in Baker County all of her life. She worked as a care giver for numerous families for many years.

Ms. Rhoden attended Pine Level Church in Baxter. She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Lossie Raulerson Canady, sister Wendy Gale Canady, brothers John Rodney Canady and Ronald Jeffery Canady II.

Margaret Rennie of Macclenny

Margaret Ann Anderson Ren­­nie, 64, of Macclenny died Wednesday, April 11 at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center. She was a native of Nashville, Tennessee and resided in Macclenny most of her life. She was a CNA at Northeast Florida State Hospital. She was a Pentecostal and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Zenas and Violet Griffis.

Survivors include husband Carl Rennie of Macclenny: daughter Shelia (Delmar) Doss of Rock Creek, WV: son Eddie (Tina) Anderson of Macclenny; grandchildren Kayla Thompson, Marian Thompson, Johnathan Anderson, Tiara Anderson, Charlie Anderson, Jeffrey Doss, Tiffany Doss, and Chandler Reed; 12 great-grandchildren.

Hoyt Noles, 70, of Glen St. Mary

Hoyt W. Noles, 70, of Glen St. Mary died April 11, 2012. He was born in Jacksonville to the late Oather Z. Noles and Gladys Grizzard Noles Sims on August 26, 1941. He was a Baptist and resided in Baker County since 1973. He was a member of Millwrights Local Union 2411.

Hoyt loved life and never met a stranger. He liked to joke, fish, hunt, shoot pool and ride motorcycles. He was predeceased by his brother Carl “Sonny” Noles and stepfather Charles Sims.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years Shirley Dobbs Noles of Glen St. Mary; children Scott (Ryba) Noles of Glen St. Mary, C.J. (Trish) Noles of Macclenny, Rhonda (Richard) McEwen of Keystone Heights and Renee (David) Rener of Texas; sister Shirley (Billy) Creech of Orange Park; second mother Aunt Hazel Williams of Dallas, GA; 11 grandchildren and loving dog Beamer.

Monroe Gray, 65, of Pomona Park

Monroe Alvin Gray, 65, of Pomona Park, Florida died Thursday, April 12 at Shands at University of Florida Hospital in Gainesville following a brief illness. He was a native of Jacksonville and resided in Baldwin before moving to Pomona Park, 20 years ago. He was a boilermaker in the construction industry for 35 years until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Gray.

Survivors include wife Vivian L. Gray of Pomona Park: children Felicity Crawford of Jacksonville, Anthony M. (Jennifer) Gray of Macclenny, Joseph (Sandra) Gary of Glen St. Mary, Jeremy Hars and Joshua D. Hars, both of Ocala; mother Edith Davis (John) Young of Lake City: sister Martha Gray of Lake City: brothers Joe Gray II of Providence, FL and Tim (Gwen) Gray of Sanderson: 14 grandchildren.
